What We Do

Mindful Art Project a Peer Led project for people recovering from mental health issues. 

Mindful Art project aims include: 

  • improving participants’ quality of life, mental health and well-being by addressing their loneliness and isolation.

  •  a safe social space in which they can meet and work together learning about and creating artworks which in turn help improve mental health, self-image and well-being.

  • art activities which stimulate meaningful conversations about mental health and well-being.

  • non-judgmental atmosphere which helps members to feel safe, create art and talk to other members about mental health experiences.

  •  provide the opportunity where members pass on skills they have developed onto other disadvantaged people.

  • Can learn from each other and develop the confidence and self-esteem necessary to help others.
